The Return Of PARTYNEXTDOOR!?

On November 21st, the Canadian songwriter dropped two singles titled “Loyal” and “The News”. Earlier in the week PARTYNEXTDOOR made a post with the caption “Friday” hinting that something was coming. Many fans speculated an album was coming but instead were surprised with two singles. Since then, fans have reacted some grateful and some disappointed. The song Loyal featuring Drake takes on a tropical feel while The News is more of a traditional PARTYNEXTDOOR song that gives off modern dazed R&B vibes. Although fans still await an album date, PARTYNEXTDOOR has taken to his twitter to announce that an album is coming in January. Recently I have listened to both of these songs and personally I enjoy The News more. It fits my music taste more and I truly believe that Loyal is sort of experimental which ins’t a bad thing because we all love versatility but for some reason it just doesn’t hold my attention. Not saying it’s a bad song but it’s not necessarily my go to. Give the songs a listen and tell me how you feel about them and which is your favorite.
